Final WRA Meeting

Earlier this month the directors of the WRA met and approved a motion to ask the voting members of the WRA to allow it to dissolve. Our final meeting is September 16, 2021 at 7pm and if you are a member you have already received notice of this meeting. It is very sad to see this come to an end after almost 10 years. Willoughby has changed a lot, however, and is probably better served by smaller community associations.

We want to thank the many sponsors who have helped us through the years, especially the Shepherd of the Valley Church who so graciously helped us out with meeting space.

To the members of the Fort Langley Community Association, and the now defunct Brookswood Fernridge Community Association, a special thanks for leading the way and taking us into your fold.

To the many residents of Willoughby who helped carry this along, attended council meetings, attended other community meetings and were the eyes and ears of the community, you are fabulous. We hope you continue to be strong and keep a health community.

Thank you everyone!

Thank you to our sponsors!

A special thank-you to the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.  They have graciously donated space for the next year so we have a home.

They are located at 20097 72nd Avenue, Langley BC and we really want to thank them for their hospitality.

Thank you to the Township of Langley for their gracious sponsorship of our 2019 activities.

Thank you to ceascape.business.solutions, a member of the Langley Chamber of Commerce, for their sponsorship for 2019

Sadly, on September 16, 2021 the members of the Willoughby Residents Association (“WRA”) voted to allow the association to dissolve. We want to thank all those members and supporters who worked hard to make this such a success over the last 10 years. Geographically, however, as a residents association, it was too cumbersome. We hope some of you will create smaller community groups and we look forward to hearing more about them. In the meantime, this website will gradually fade when the domain expires. If you would like to hear more about Community Associations, we would refer you to the Fort Langley Community Association which is still active.

And remember, as we started every meeting:
