As the novel coronavirus continues to affect us all globally, the WRA September meeting is also postponed. We will need to have our November Annual General Meeting (AGM) and it is tentatively set for Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Whether it is in person or virtual will be announced closer to the date.
In the meantime, we are still here for you. If you have an issue that concerns Willoughby, or something about Willoughby, please email us at email@example.com and one of our volunteers will respond as soon as possible.
How the world has changed since the last time we met. Like we really need to tell any of you!
Since our February meeting, you may have noticed a few changes in our community, and, like you, the WRA is rolling with the waves.
In the spirit of coming together as a community and working to plank the curve (and hold it flat), we’re going to spend a bit more time apart this spring. Specifically, we’re cancelling the May meeting of the WRA.
Behind the scenes, we’ll continue to watch goings-on in our community, work to engage with more community members in a variety of ways, and look to reconvening in September. Please join us on September 15, November 17 2020 for our regularly scheduled AGM quarter meeting.
Please continue to be in touch, to share your local news and events, and to letting us know how we can continue to develop and sustain the WRA and the Willoughby community at large.
Until we meet again.
On behalf of the Willoughby Residents Association,
Join us on Monday July 8, 2019 at 7pm at the Township of Langley Hall. We are discussing signage at playing fields and have an every increasingly beautiful PowerPoint presentation. And who doesn’t love a PowerPoint presentation? We have diagrams and pictures and other fun stuff to learn about Willoughby.
What do we need? We need YOU – come support the WRA by showing up and letter the TOL know we are here and active. We look forward to seeing you on Monday and don’t forget to come say hi and let us know you’re here!
